My art work expresses my reflections about life, The Divine Mystery, and personal myth. Through my handling of paint and objects, I fashion stories and tableaus reflecting the emotional and spiritual lives of colorful people. The art that comes through me can be interpreted and approached as tarot cards and narratives about metaphysical and spiritual ideas.
My exploration of contemporary urban symbols honors my African ancestry, southern, and urban roots in America. For me, making art is a spiritual path and being an artists is living a love story.
